Client’s new novel on human trafficking available on Amazon

I’m pleased to announce that Jane in Plain Sight, a poignant debut novel by a recent client, Texas psychiatrist Olga Tolscik, is now available on Amazon. I copy-edited this engaging book, which reveals how easily and publicly a sex trafficker can target and deceive a vulnerable young woman in New York City. Yet, human trafficking is not just a big-city crime – it can happen anywhere.

Olga does an excellent job of revealing the shame, secrecy and hopelessness that can prevail for victims in this horrible trend. But her compelling story, in clear prose, does not promote despair. Instead, it conveys hope and triumph, revealing what deep transformation can occur through a resilient spirit and the power of friendship. The main character is a composite of survivors that Olga has worked with.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about human trafficking and enjoys tales of self-actualization and overcoming adversity. As an added plus, proceeds from sales of this book will benefit sex-trafficking survivor recovery programs.
