Audiobook version of memoir now available

If you like to listen to, rather than read, stories, I invite you to check out the new audiobook version of my memoir No Letter in Your Pocket. As of mid-March 2026, it is available on Amazon, Spotify, Kobo, Google Play Audio and other sites. If audiobooks aren’t your thing, you can still get a hard-copy or Kindle version, or ask your local library to order one.

Many thanks to these folks who helped me in the recording and production process:

  • The staff at Inspiration Labs at the Vancouver Public Library for providing free studio space and some tech support;
  • Emmett Robinson Smith, an audio engineer/producer at Legacy Creative House in Vancouver, BC, for fixing glitches and ensuring all content was professional quality;
  • My friend Shelley Ackerman for designing the audiobook cover;
  • My friend Michael Maser who helped me fix and rerecord some content; and
  • Publicist Marisa Jorgensen and co-owner Michael Mirolla at my publisher Guernica Editions for answering all of my questions, providing the required tech specs, etc.

I appreciated this opportunity for creative collaboration and, as a total rookie, to learn new recording software. Onwards and upwards.

No Letter in Your Pocket is available free with a trial on Audible. In Canada, order here from Amazon.
