Theatre Society transforms at-risk youth
The Theatre Street Youth Society, thanks to funding from VanCity Savings Credit Union, transformed the lives of at-risk teens through art, performance, and a job readiness program.
I wrote about this success story in the 1990s for Vancity’s newsletter Working Dollars. A Vancity member for many decades, I applaud the credit union’s policies of self-reliance, social justice, and ethical investing.
