Dean Hunt re-envisions traditional Heiltsuk designs
Discover the dramatic masks, paintings, carvings, and jewelry of Heiltsuk artist Dean Hunt, who lives on BC’s Sunshine Coast. I profiled him for the fall 2026 issue of Sunshine Coast Life magazine. Please note: I forgot to mention Dean’s daughter Naycia in the piece. I sent Dean an apology about this.
