SoulCollage(R) workshop in qathet Powell River a success
What a joy it was to introduce a dozen eager folks to the creative, intuitive process of SoulCollage(R) at Powell River Public Library on March 28. With such workshops, it is a privilege to watch and hear people open up, choose to become more vulnerable, and share events or aspects of character that they feel have limited or harmed them throughout life. It takes courage to reveal such things to a group of strangers.
We addressed the power of archetypes and symbols, learning to embrace our shadow self, and finding self-acceptance. For me, that is one of the huge gifts of creating SoulCollage(R) cards: We learn to see all aspects of ourselves as supporters and guides, leading each of us to greater self-knowledge, healing, and personal transformation.
Many thanks to Mark Merlino and the Powell River Library for inviting me to host this workshop. Here is some of the feedback I received:
“Beautifully organized”
“Well organized and engaging”
“Highly organized, well presented, held in a timely manner”
“This was great. I would definitely come again if it was offered”
“Excellent and entertaining! Thank you”

“Heather Conn was an excellent presenter and very informative”
“This was such a great workshop! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It might also be a good idea as a teen workshop some weekend or in the summer”
“I enjoyed your workshop. It was very informative and a fun and creative process.”
